Bonneville T100 Project Update

As most of you will know, I’ve been in the process of customising my 2004 Triumph Bonneville T100. Modifying a motorbike has more or less taken over my spare time of late.

Between crap weather and injury recovery, I’ve spent the majority of my evenings and weekends getting the Cafe Racer project finished for Dirt Quake 2, Wheels & Waves and my tour to the Dosnoventa HQ in June.

Here it is as of last week. Pretty much done everything that i wanted to do initially, only got a few more intense modifications to finish before I set off to Spain.

You can mount your horn up under the tank on the old A/I bolts and it will be unseen and just as loud. Just did that to mine. Great looking bike though!

Hey Jeff, Thanks for the advice… i’ll have to have a look at doing this soon. What’s the best way to approach this?

If you’ve removed the air injection, there is a bolt on the frame under the tank on the right side where the AI box used to attach to. You can use this bolt to mount the horn. You probably have to take the tank off which is pretty easy. Then you can just sort of reroute the wire to the horn in the new location. Now the horn totally hidden under the tank, but it doesn’t seem to affect the volume much. Hope that helps!
