Deaf Pigeon is a team of fixed gear bike riders from the rainy city of Preston in the United Kingdom. Our small team has grown slowly, built from close friendships started through cycling. Through the years, we have seen many come and go leaving the Deaf Pigeon family as it is today.
This blog aspires to post interesting articles and personal experiences relating to all aspects of fixed gear bikes, riding and the culture that surrounds it.

The Blink/Steady light is a kickstarter project, brainchild of industrial designer Benjamin Cohen. It’s a solid, aluminium-bodied product that is perfectly machined to fit onto your seatpost. It has two modes: blink, and steady.
If you’ve not seen or heard about these then i don’t know where you’ve been. There’s been a lot of opinions flying around all over the internet about them but i personally love them, because for once, i’ve found a pair of jeans that actually fit me well for riding in.
Not too skinny and not too baggy, just perfectly in the middle. Not to mention all the other features they’ve got on them designed for cycling. Our mates over at Scene in Preston have got them in stock... head on over and grab a pair, or a jacket or a shirt or all of the range!
It’s definitely worth it!
